Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and evaluations to accurately gauge the mental health status and needs of clients.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to individual clients’ goals, using evidence-based methodologies and solution-focused approaches.
• Provide individual therapy to adult clients, incorporating various therapeutic techniques suitable for their specific challenges.
• Deliver virtual therapy sessions through teletherapy platforms, ensuring continuity of care irrespective of location.
• Engage in crisis intervention as needed, utilizing your expertise to provide immediate support and guidance during challenging situations.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay updated on the latest mental health best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Build and maintain strong therapeutic relationships that foster trust and facilitate healing for your clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Healogics, you will work primarily with adult clients facing a variety of mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, PTSD, and other emotional difficulties. Your role is crucial in supporting clients through their healing journeys and helping them achieve their mental health goals, ultimately enhancing their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to establish respectful and supportive relationships with clients.
• A strong capacity for empathy, demonstrated compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude towards clients.
• Organizational and time-management skills to effectively manage multiple clients and sessions.
• No history of disciplinary actions on professional licensing board.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in providing teletherapy services is highly desirable, along with familiarity with virtual therapy platforms.
• A background in diverse therapeutic modalities, including CBT, DBT, and mindfulness techniques would be advantageous.
• Experience in crisis intervention and risk assessment.
