Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments to evaluate the mental health and emotional state of clients, formulating a comprehensive understanding of their needs.
• Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans that align with each client's goals, employing evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
• Providing individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing various therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and psychodynamic approaches.
• Monitoring and documenting client progress diligently, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary based on evolving needs.
• Offering immediate crisis intervention support, ensuring clients have the tools and resources necessary to manage urgent psychological distress.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential client records, adhering to legal and ethical standards outlined by state licensing boards.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to deliver holistic care.
• Staying informed of new developments in mental health treatments and research to enhance your practice and treatment approaches.
• Engaging in regular supervision and training sessions to foster continuous clinical skill enhancement.
• Following established ethical guidelines and professional standards as mandated by relevant regulatory bodies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will focus on serving a diverse client base, including adolescents and adults experiencing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. You will tailor your approach to meet clients where they are, employing culturally sensitive and trauma-informed care practices.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Current state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist, specifically as LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, supported by theoretical knowledge.
