Work Environment

This full-time position allows you to work remotely, which provides flexibility while ensuring you can communicate effectively with clients and collaborate with team members via telehealth platforms. Our outpatient office serves a diverse client population that includes children, adolescents, adults, and families. You will be equipped with state-of-the-art technology and resources to conduct virtual therapy sessions and maintain client records securely and confidentially.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough client assessments and evaluations to identify mental health needs, challenges, and personal goals.
• Provide tailored individual therapy sessions using a range of therapeutic modalities to address issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment disorders.
• Collaborate with clients to develop comprehensive, evidence-based treatment plans that include measurable objectives and individualized strategies.
• Deliver crisis intervention and supportive counseling during emergencies, ensuring immediate safety and stabilization for clients in distress.
• Educate clients and their families on mental health issues, effective coping strategies, and resources available in the community to enhance their support systems.
• Maintain detailed, accurate, and confidential client documentation, including treatment notes and progress reports, in accordance with ethical and legal standards.
• Abide by ethical guidelines and regulatory requirements governing counseling practices, ensuring client confidentiality and informed consent at all stages.
• Demonstrate cultural competency and sensitivity in every interaction, recognizing and honoring the diverse backgrounds of our clients.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals to ensure open communication and integrated treatment approaches for client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will work with come from various backgrounds and experiences, including those facing chronic mental health conditions, acute crises, and significant life transitions. Your role will be crucial in fostering resilience, offering hope, and equipping clients with tools to manage their conditions effectively across the lifespan—from children to older adults.

Qualifications

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or equivalent licensing is required.
• At least three years of professional experience providing outpatient therapy services in a mental health setting.
• Strong clinical skills with a focus on effective therapeutic relationships and outcomes.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to express empathy and understanding.
• Commitment to ethical practice and ongoing professional development aligned with industry standards.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with specific populations, including children or those with trauma histories.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a telehealth environment to provide accessible mental health services.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience.
