Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to develop personalized treatment and management plans that address their unique needs and goals.
• Establish therapeutic goals in collaboration with patients, employing a strength-based approach to ensure progress is measurable and meaningful.
• Provide psychotherapy using evidence-based practices, leveraging both in-person and telehealth modalities to expand client access to care.
• Maintain an open and supportive counseling atmosphere that encourages clients to express their feelings and consequences, fostering trust and rapport.
• Document all clinical services rendered, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and treatment summaries, ensuring compliance with state regulations and best practices.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by attending workshops and training sessions to stay abreast of the latest therapeutic techniques and mental health trends.

The mental health counselors at Grace Psychological Services work with a diverse population, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other mental health challenges. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• Must hold a license to practice as a mental health counselor (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW) compliant with Washington State regulations.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical counseling setting is essential.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are critical to establishing positive relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, remote work environment while maintaining client-centered focus and composure under pressure.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time licensed mental health counselor position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
