Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health status through intakes and ongoing evaluations.
• Design and implement personalized therapeutic treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that incorporate various evidence-based methodologies.
• Regularly monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Build strong therapeutic alliances with clients, reinforcing a safe, trusting, and supportive environment.
• Provide referrals to other healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists, when medication management or additional services are required.
• Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health record (EHR) systems to comply with industry standards and regulations.
• Participate in regular team meetings to share insights, discuss complex cases, and enhance collaborative care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Great Bliss, you will work with a diverse clientele, including but not limited to individuals experiencing substance abuse issues, depression, anxiety disorders, and eating disorders. Your role will involve understanding the cultural and socio-economic backgrounds of each client, utilizing this insight to inform therapeutic interventions and foster a more inclusive therapeutic relationship.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.
• A minimum of four years of related experience in a clinical setting.
• Proven understanding of mental health disorders, along with experience in evidence-based treatment approaches.
• Strong crisis intervention skills and the ability to maintain composure in challenging situations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated capacity to engage with clients from varied backgrounds.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant software applications.
• A commitment to upholding professional ethics, maintaining boundaries, and ensuring client confidentiality.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team to enhance overall patient care.

Preferred Experience

• Experience providing therapy in a community health setting or with diverse populations is highly desirable.
• Background in group facilitation and experience with family therapy will be considered a plus.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and experience delivering virtual therapy sessions.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
