Key Responsibilities

• Provide short-term, evidence-based individual therapy sessions via live video, addressing a diverse range of mental health issues experienced by our clients, who may include individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and other psychological concerns.
• Educate clients on therapeutic skills, assist them in setting tangible goals, and provide them with practical tools and techniques for effective problem-solving and coping strategies.
• Maintain detailed case notes and documentation compliant with telehealth regulations, ensuring all patient interactions and recommendations are recorded accurately.
• Work independently while managing a caseload of clients, ensuring that you maintain high standards of care and professionalism with minimal supervision.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a remotely positioned therapist, you'll engage with a diverse client population across Modesto, California, and surrounding areas. Your focus will include clients of varying ages and backgrounds, helping them navigate their mental health challenges through compassionate therapy and evidence-based practices.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure in the State of California as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
• Minimum of three years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling.
• Strong understanding of and adherence to federal, state, and local laws related to mental health practice and patient confidentiality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong commitment to providing a supportive and empathetic therapeutic environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in providing teletherapy is highly preferred, with familiarity using video conferencing software and electronic health record systems.
• Previous experience working with diverse populations, including individuals from various cultural backgrounds and those facing socio-economic challenges.

Compensation and Benefits
