Work Environment

This remote position allows you to work from the comfort of your own home while maintaining high standards of client care. You will primarily engage with clients through teletherapy sessions, ensuring accessibility and comfort for those seeking support. Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive mental health evaluations to assess clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health.
• Design and implement individualized and group treatment plans based on assessment findings, ensuring each plan is tailored to the unique needs of the client.
• Host engaging therapeutic sessions, providing both individual counseling and group therapy experiences that promote healing.
• Continuously monitor and document client progress throughout their treatment journey, adapting plans as necessary to meet changing needs.
• Collaborate effectively with other mental health professionals, medical doctors, nurses, and social workers to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation from initial client consultation through to the completion of treatment in compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
• Provide ongoing support to family members and caregivers, helping them to understand and manage the complexities of mental health challenges faced by their loved ones.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve a diverse clientele, including individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship issues. You will also work with couples and families facing dynamics that require therapeutic intervention. Your ability to connect empathetically with clients from varied backgrounds will be essential, as will your capacity to develop culturally relevant interventions that resonate with their individual experiences.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Valid current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) in the state of Arizona.
• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE) with a passing score.
• Strong understanding of mental health diagnoses and treatment modalities.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records, particularly with tools such as AVATAR.
• Knowledge of best practices from the American Mental Health Counselors Association.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience working in mental health counseling or related fields.
• Hands-on experience dealing with chronic mental illnesses, addiction disorders, and co-occurring disorders.
• Familiarity with medication management and awareness of the effects of pharmaceuticals on mental health.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with clients and collaborators in a remote work setting.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, along with a sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.
