Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions with clients experiencing a variety of mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and relationship issues.
• Perform thorough diagnostic assessments to evaluate client needs and develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to address their specific goals and preferences.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and educators, to create a coordinated care approach that ensures comprehensive support for clients.
• Maintain accurate and secure electronic health records (EHR), documenting all client interactions and interventions within prescribed timelines to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
• Engage in regular clinical supervision and continued education to remain current with best practices in mental health treatment, enhancing skills to better serve clients.
• Provide crisis intervention and conduct risk assessments when necessary, ensuring client safety and appropriate response strategies are implemented.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients represent a diverse population, including adolescents, adults, and families facing a range of psychological and emotional hurdles. Many struggle with anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and other mental health conditions exacerbated by life transitions and external stressors. As an LMHC, you will play a crucial role in creating a safe and supportive environment where clients feel empowered to share their experiences and work toward positive change.

Qualifications

• A master’s degree in mental health counseling or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Active licensure as a mental health counselor (LMHC) in the state of Massachusetts.
• Minimum of two years of hands-on experience in providing counseling services to individuals, groups, and families, demonstrating expertise in a variety of treatment modalities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage a diverse caseload while meeting deadlines and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems and telehealth platforms, ensuring smooth documentation and client interactions.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with specific populations such as youth, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and marginalized communities is preferred.
• Familiarity with integration of physical health and behavioral health services is a plus, contributing to holistic patient care.
• Prior experience in a remote counseling environment and the ability to adapt therapeutic practices to virtual formats.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, the benefits package includes:
