Gotham Enterprises Ltd is seeking a dedicated and passionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team as we provide pivotal support and treatment within the field of substance abuse. The salary range for this role is between USD 80,000 and 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and credentials.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for a range of essential functions, including:

• Conducting thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients’ substance abuse histories and mental health profiles.
• Developing personalized, evidenced-based treatment plans that not only target addiction but also integrate strategies to address co-occurring mental health disorders.
• Leading individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to promote recovery and build coping skills.
• Collaborating closely with our multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to client care.
• Engaging with clients’ families, providing education and support to facilitate their involvement in the recovery process.
• Maintaining accurate and comprehensive records in compliance with industry regulations and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clients will predominantly include individuals struggling with substance abuse issues, as well as those dealing with co-occurring mental health disorders. You will be instrumental in helping clients from various backgrounds overcome the challenges associated with addiction and mental health, guiding them towards sustainable recovery and improved life satisfaction.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A valid license in one of the following: LCMFT, LCPC, LCP, LCSW, LSCSW, or PsyD.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Specialized training or relevant experience in addiction counseling, demonstrating a strong commitment to this specialty.
• Expertise in best practices for treating substance abuse and understanding co-occurring disorders.
• Exceptional therapeutic and counseling skills with an innate ability to motivate and engage clients.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with the following experiences and skills are highly regarded:

• Experience in providing telehealth services, demonstrating an aptitude for technology-based interactions.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to streamline documentation processes.
• Previous work in a substance abuse treatment facility, providing insights into evidence-based methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits
