This full-time remote position allows you to work with a diverse patient population, delivering high-quality mental health services in a supportive outpatient environment. Work Environment

This role offers a flexible remote work setting, allowing you to manage your schedule while providing essential mental health services. You will primarily work Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate and understand the psychological needs of patients, forming the basis for personalized treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, to deliver effective interventions tailored to individual, couple, and family dynamics.
• Lead psychoeducational support groups, addressing various mental health topics while fostering community and connection among participants.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other health professionals to ensure cohesive and holistic patient care.
• Provide crisis intervention services, offering immediate support and strategies to individuals in acute mental health emergencies.
• Educate clients about their mental health conditions, treatment options, and resources available within the community to empower their recovery.
• Maintain secure and accurate documentation that complies with all legal and ethical standards, ensuring the integrity of patient records.
• Participate actively in case consultations and team meetings, contributing insights and suggestions for continuous improvement in patient care.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to remain informed of the latest research and best practices in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with patients dealing with conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, trauma, and substance use disorders. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field is required.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
• Strong foundational knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and therapeutic techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough mental health assessments and develop tailored treatment plans based on individual patient needs.
• Experience delivering therapy to diverse populations, both individually and in group settings.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate effective relationships with clients and team members.
• Commitment to ethical practice and adherence to professional boundaries.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technology applications.
• A collaborative mindset, capable of working effectively within a multidisciplinary team framework.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient setting, particularly working with patients in crisis or those with comorbid conditions.
• Familiarity with community mental health resources and programs that can enhance patient treatment plans.
• Previous training or certification in specific therapeutic modalities such as EMDR or trauma-informed care.
