Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health concerns and developing tailored treatment plans that address their specific needs.
• Providing individual therapy sessions employing evidence-based modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or other therapeutic techniques as suited to the client.
• Collaborating with clients to establish therapeutic goals, fostering an open dialogue to monitor progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary.
• Utilizing teletherapy platforms for remote sessions, ensuring that clients who experience mobility issues or reside in distant locations have access to quality care.
• Maintaining thorough, organized documentation to meet ethical and regulatory standards, thus ensuring compliance and effective communication within the clinical team.
• Engaging in continuous professional development, attending workshops and seminars to remain up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse range of clients including adults, children, and families who present with varied mental health concerns, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational issues. Your role is instrumental in creating a safe, trusting environment where clients can explore their challenges and work towards recovery, ultimately enhancing their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A current and valid mental health license in Texas, specifically as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master’s degree or doctorate in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling the establishment of effective therapeutic relationships reflective of empathy and understanding.
• Proficient organizational and time-management skills to balance a diverse caseload and administrative responsibilities efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• Experience providing therapy in a private practice or outpatient setting.
• Demonstrated ability to work with a range of mental health disorders and diverse client backgrounds.
• Previous engagement in interdisciplinary collaboration, which enhances treatment outcomes through shared expertise and support.

Compensation and Benefits

• A competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
