Licensed Mental Health Counselor - Mindfulness Specialist (Remote, Full-Time)

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), tailored to meet clients' unique needs for stress relief and emotional balance.
• Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify clients' mental health challenges and personal goals, developing customized treatment plans that incorporate mindfulness practices.
• Guide clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation techniques, and breathing practices to cultivate self-awareness and emotional regulation.
• Facilitate engaging group workshops that focus on mindfulness practices, stress management techniques, and resilience-building strategies, fostering community and peer support.
• Incorporate mindfulness strategies into individual counseling sessions, effectively addressing specific mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, and stress.
• Collaborate closely with other therapists and healthcare providers to create an integrated treatment plan that encompasses all aspects of a client's well-being.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of client sessions, treatment plans, and progress notes to ensure compliance with best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Continuously engage in personal mindfulness practices, self-reflection, and training to deepen your understanding and expertise in mindfulness-based therapeutic interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your efforts will primarily benefit adults facing stress-related mental health challenges. Clients may vary from those experiencing acute stress reactions to those looking for ongoing support for chronic mental health issues. Qualifications

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California is required to ensure compliance with state regulations.
• A strong understanding of mindfulness principles and the ability to integrate these practices into therapeutic interventions.
• Exceptional communication skills, enabling you to cultivate a supportive and calming atmosphere conducive to healing.

Preferred Experience

• Experience and training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and other mindfulness practices are highly desirable.
• Demonstrated success in facilitating therapeutic workshops or group sessions is a plus.
• A background in outpatient therapy settings is preferred, with experience working with a diverse client population.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering annual compensation between USD 80,000 and 104,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
