Work Environment

This full-time role allows for a flexible remote work setting, providing a convenient focus on client engagement without the constraints of a physical office. Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized therapy sessions focusing on mindfulness-based interventions, including MBSR, aimed at reducing stress and enhancing clients' emotional resilience.
• Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify specific stressors and mental health goals for each client, tailoring mindfulness practices to meet their individual needs.
• Facilitate mindfulness exercises, meditation, and breathing techniques during therapy sessions to empower clients in developing self-awareness and managing their emotions effectively.
• Organize and lead interactive group workshops and classes centered around mindfulness practices, stress management techniques, and building resilience.
• Integrate mindfulness strategies into therapy, addressing targeted mental health concerns while supporting clients in their journey toward holistic well-being.
• Collaborate with fellow therapists and healthcare professionals to implement comprehensive treatment plans that scientifically incorporate mindfulness practices.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and mindfulness interventions to ensure continuity of care.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and personal mindfulness practice to continually enhance your skills in delivering mindfulness-informed therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges, including stress, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. Our clients range widely in age and background, allowing you to apply your therapeutic skills in diverse situations, fostering emotional growth and providing essential support.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• A current and valid licensure in Texas as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT is essential for this role.
• Experience or training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is highly preferred but not mandatory.
• Demonstrated proficiency in incorporating mindfulness into therapeutic interventions with clients.
• Strong communication skills are essential to create a calming and supportive therapeutic environment and establish rapport with clients effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in outpatient settings with a focus on mindfulness or holistic approaches to mental health.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, particularly those that align with mindfulness principles.
• Evidence of engagement in continuous personal and professional development through workshops or training related to mindfulness practices.

Compensation and Benefits
