Key Responsibilities

• Provide weekly supervision and guidance to practicum students seeking clinical licensure, ensuring they receive practical insights and support during their training.
• Deliver high-quality psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, and families, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to each client's unique needs.
• Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals and community resources, enhancing the quality of care provided to our clients.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of comprehensive treatment plans that promote positive outcomes and ongoing progress for patients.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation in compliance with state regulations and organizational standards to ensure continuity of care.
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development by staying informed about current research, best practices, and advancements in the field of mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Senior Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges, couples navigating relational difficulties, and families in need of systemic support. You will approach each case with empathy and understanding, creating individualized treatment strategies that honor the unique experiences of each client. Your expertise will empower clients to navigate their recovery journeys effectively and meaningfully.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• A valid state license in mental health counseling (LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, LCSW-R) is necessary to practice in the state of New York.
• Professional liability insurance is required for practice.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of post-graduate clinical experience is preferred, particularly in outpatient settings.
• Experience in supervising or mentoring students in a clinical practice environment is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role is generously structured to reflect the expertise and contribution of our therapists. Full-time team members can expect to earn between USD 52,000 and 100,000 annually, with uncapped earnings potential based on performance and caseload.
