Work Environment

This position allows for a remote work setting, granting you the flexibility to manage your schedule and work from the comfort of your own home. While remote capabilities are essential, there might be occasions for in-person meetings or team supervision at our outpatient office when required. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to accurately identify clients' mental health concerns, utilizing standardized tools and interviews that help in creating tailored treatment plans.
• Provide individual therapy sessions employing evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) that are customized to meet the specific needs of each client.
• Collaborate closely with clients to set realistic therapeutic goals, monitor their progress, and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations.
• Offer teletherapy options for clients who prefer virtual sessions, ensuring accessibility and convenience while maintaining a high standard of therapeutic engagement.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation that adheres to ethical and regulatory requirements, contributing to transparency and accountability in client care.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops, training, and supervision to enhance clinical competencies and stay informed about emerging psychological practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Gold Care, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other mental health disorders. Qualifications

• A valid and current license as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in Texas is required.
• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is necessary to ensure comprehensive expertise in the field.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with the ability to create a safe, supportive environment for clients to express their struggles and progress towards their mental health goals.
• Demonstrated empathy and a non-judgmental attitude towards clients’ experiences, emphasizing respect for their individual journeys.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to efficiently handle caseloads while maintaining attention to detail in administrative tasks.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in outpatient settings, having a depth of understanding of the nuances associated with community mental health services.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documenting client interactions and managing treatment plans effectively.
• Experience providing telehealth services and utilizing digital communication tools to engage with clients effectively.
