Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments for clients using evidence-based practices and solution-focused interventions. Develop individualized treatment plans that reflect each client's unique circumstances, ensuring an aligned approach to enhancing mental health outcomes.
• Utilize diverse therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to support clients on their path to recovery. Your empathetic demeanor and strategic interventions will help clients build resilience and navigate life’s challenges.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical records, adhering to HIPAA regulations to ensure client privacy and organizational compliance. Your attention to detail will uphold our reputation for professionalism in mental health care.
• Collaborate regularly with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and fellow counselors to provide coordinated, holistic care. Participate in case consultations and peer review meetings to elevate the standard of care delivered.
• Offer ongoing education and support to clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment possibilities, and community resources. Empower them with knowledge and strategies to enhance their coping mechanisms and emotional health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse population, serving individuals facing a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and interpersonal conflicts. Our clients come from various backgrounds and demographics, and your role will focus on creating a safe and supportive environment for every individual to express their concerns and work towards their mental health goals.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree or doctorate in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York State, demonstrating your competence and commitment to the profession.
