Work Environment

This is a remote position, allowing you to perform your duties from the comfort of your home while still being an integral part of our collaborative team. Regular working hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with potential evening shifts based on the needs of our patients. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed assessments of individuals seeking treatment for substance use disorders, identifying their specific needs and recovery goals.
• Craft personalized treatment plans that incorporate best practices and evidence-based methodologies tailored to each patient’s unique circumstances.
• Facilitate one-on-one counseling sessions utilizing techniques such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) to encourage patient engagement and growth.
• Guide group therapy sessions designed to provide peer support and foster a sense of community among participants navigating similar challenges.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and addiction specialists to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care, addressing all aspects of the patient's treatment.
• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during acute substance-related situations, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
• Educate patients and their families on addiction, recovery methods, and available community resources to enhance their support systems.
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation aligned with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California is essential for this role.
• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly those relevant to substance use disorders, is critical.
• Demonstrated experience in providing individual and group therapy, preferably in a substance use treatment context.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are necessary, showcasing an empathetic approach to patient care.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
