Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW) - Full-Time

Hills on Top Counseling Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. As a licensed LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW, you will provide support and therapeutic services to a diverse client base, focusing on enhancing mental health and overall well-being. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations through preliminary interviews and detailed assessments, documenting findings from the initial consultation to the conclusion of treatment.
• Design and implement tailored intervention and treatment plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups based on thorough evaluations.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing various therapeutic techniques to address clients' specific mental health challenges.
• Monitor and evaluate client progress throughout the treatment plans, adjusting strategies as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, physicians, nurses, and other mental health professionals, to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Assist clients in navigating referrals to external resources, and provide follow-up care for those hospitalized or requiring additional support.
• Educate and support family members and primary caregivers in managing their loved ones' mental health challenges, fostering a collaborative approach to recovery.
• Stay abreast of advancements in psychotherapy, evidence-based practices, and any relevant regulatory requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client base encompasses a diverse spectrum of ages and backgrounds, including individuals suffering from anxiety, depression, trauma, relational issues, and substance use disorders. You will work closely with both acute and chronic mental health conditions, creating individualized treatment experiences that foster healing and empowerment among clients from various demographics.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in California.
• A pass score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in clinical mental health counseling, demonstrating effective treatment approaches.
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR or similar platforms.
• A solid understanding of co-occurring disorders, along with experience navigating underlying health and addiction challenges.
• Awareness and application of the best practices established by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, complemented by strong empathy and interpersonal abilities.

Preferred Experience

• Experience utilizing telehealth platforms and methodologies in providing remote therapy services.
• Prior involvement in multidisciplinary teams, with demonstrated skills in cooperative care settings.
• Specialized training in crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, or evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between $80,000 and $100,000 annually, along with a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
