Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments in virtual settings to identify clients' mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based therapy services through video conferencing that address individual, group, and family dynamics utilizing various therapeutic modalities.
• Collaborate closely with case managers and psychiatrists to ensure cohesive, multidisciplinary care and promote client safety across treatment interventions.
• Engage in crisis intervention processes, offering immediate support to clients during acute distress or emergencies through our telehealth platform.
• Participate in community outreach efforts to enhance mental health awareness and encourage engagement from underrepresented populations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this position, you will work primarily with a diverse client demographic, including individuals from varied socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds. Your role focuses on addressing a spectrum of mental health issues, ranging from anxiety and depression to complex trauma and substance use disorders. You will tailor your therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs of each client, recognizing the importance of cultural competence in your practice.

Qualifications

• A current and valid license as one of the following: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Psychoanalyst, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker - R Privilege (LCSW-R), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master’s degree or doctorate in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build therapeutic rapport with clients through a virtual environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds, showing sensitivity to their unique experiences and perspectives.
• Strong organizational skills to maintain documentation and manage a consistent workflow within a remote setting.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in telehealth delivery of mental health services is a plus, although training will be provided for those new to the format.
• Previous involvement in community mental health initiatives and outreach programs.
• Ability to utilize electronic health records (EHR) systems effectively in managing client information.
