Calm Vitality Counseling Clinic is actively seeking a compassionate and licensed Mental Health Counselor to provide therapeutic support to our diverse client base. This position is a fully remote role, allowing you to offer counseling services from a location that suits you while also providing flexibility to accommodate a healthy work-life balance. Our outpatient office model supports an array of client needs in a collaborative atmosphere, leveraging technology to enhance service delivery through our electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health status during initial intake sessions, utilizing evidence-based evaluation tools.
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, aligning therapy goals with patients' unique challenges and objectives.
Facilitate regular therapy sessions, ensuring consistency in treatment and providing clients with practical tools and strategies to manage their conditions effectively.
Establish a compassionate therapeutic relationship with each client, maintaining a focus on empowerment and fostering resilience.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and social workers, to provide comprehensive care through referrals and integrated treatment strategies.
Stay up to date with the latest research and methodologies in mental health to continuously improve therapeutic approaches and practices.
In this role, you will engage with a diverse array of clients who may experience various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and eating disorders. You will work towards understanding their individual paths to recovery, integrating cultural competence into your therapeutic approach to meet the unique needs of each patient.
A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
An active and valid state license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.
A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling.
In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and a repertoire of evidence-based treatment approaches.
Proven skills in crisis intervention and a calm demeanor during challenging situations.
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to effectively relate to diverse clients.
Proficiency with electronic health record systems and other relevant software applications.
A commitment to upholding professional ethics, confidentiality, and boundaries in all client interactions.
Experience delivering both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing inclusive and culturally responsive approaches.
A background in working with specific populations such as children, adolescents, or diverse ethnic groups is a plus.
