Work Environment

This role is primarily remote, utilizing telehealth technologies to connect with clients effectively. You will work from the comfort of your home, utilizing our robust telehealth platform to deliver counseling sessions. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive crisis assessments for clients experiencing mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate intervention and support.
• Provide direct counseling to individuals in urgent need, implementing tailored therapeutic approaches to facilitate stabilization and recovery.
• Collaborate closely with law enforcement and emergency responders to ensure client safety in high-risk situations, demonstrating strong partnership skills.
• Develop personalized intervention plans based on initial assessments, directing clients to appropriate resources and follow-up care options.
• Employ crisis intervention strategies and de-escalation techniques to manage challenging situations effectively, safeguarding the well-being of clients.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and training sessions, aimed at enhancing crisis counseling techniques and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on individuals grappling with substance misuse, emotional crises, and trauma-related issues. You will be instrumental in supporting clients through their most challenging moments, addressing immediate psychological needs and facilitating long-term recovery pathways. The diverse backgrounds of our clientele require not only clinical expertise but also a culturally sensitive and empathetic approach to care.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution is mandatory.
• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification is required.
• A minimum of three years of recent experience in crisis intervention and mental health counseling, particularly within addiction therapy.
• Strong proficiency in crisis intervention methodologies and trauma-informed care practices.
• Demonstrated ability to perform rapid assessments and create effective crisis management plans.
• Excellent communication skills to establish rapport with clients and their families while working in high-stress environments.

Preferred Experience

• Additional certifications or training in specialized areas such as trauma therapy, suicide prevention, or behavioral interventions.
• Experience with telehealth services and familiarity with digital communication tools is advantageous.
• A deep understanding of ethical and legal standards related to mental health counseling and client confidentiality.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 95,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a competitive benefits package, including:
