Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical mental health services to clients through telehealth platforms, developing and implementing individualized, person-centered treatment plans.
• Conduct ongoing assessments to tailor services to the evolving needs of each client, ensuring that their mental health goals are met effectively.
• Assist clients in creating and executing individualized service plans, which may include therapeutic interventions, resource referrals, and coping strategies.
• Support clients in developing essential life skills such as problem-solving, communication, and personal coping mechanisms, enhancing their independence.
• Educate clients about available community resources and advocate for their access to essential services that promote mental health and stability.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Mental Health Counselor at Stride Health Care, you will be primarily working with adults facing various mental health challenges. Your expertise will be vital in guiding clients towards achieving their personal goals and improving their overall quality of life. The compassionate and non-judgmental approach you bring will play a critical role in helping clients navigate their mental health journeys.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Current, unrestricted state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist (PsyD) is necessary.
• Ability to practice independently without supervision and a clean disciplinary record on your license are essential.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a genuine empathy for individuals facing mental health issues.
• Proficiency with technology and good internet connectivity for delivering online counseling services.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in providing direct clinical mental health services to diverse populations.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems would be advantageous.
• Skill in symptom monitoring and management, supporting clients through crises.
• Experience in conducting assessments and formulating effective treatment plans tailored to client needs.

Compensation and Benefits

Stride Health Care offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
