Position Overview

Oracle Counseling Center is actively seeking a dedicated Licensed Clinical Mental Health Therapist to join our innovative team in Mesa, Arizona. This full-time position is primarily remote but will involve providing outpatient therapy services to a diverse clientele. You will play a crucial role in assessing, treating, and supporting individuals with mood disorders, significantly impacting their mental health and quality of life.

Work Environment

Operating primarily in a remote setting, our practice fosters a flexible work culture while maintaining a strong community connection amongst team members. The work schedule is structured around Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional shifts during evenings or weekends to accommodate client needs. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth assessments to determine the severity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms, collecting information through interviews and standardized assessments.
• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that align with their specific goals, needs, and preferences, ensuring a client-centered therapeutic approach.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to deliver effective interventions tailored to mood disorders.
• Educate clients and their family members about mood disorders, treatment options, and proactive self-care strategies to enhance understanding and participation in the treatment process.
• Monitor and document clients' progress throughout their therapy journey, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on progress and feedback.
• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to facilitate a multidisciplinary approach to treatment, ensuring comprehensive care for clients.
• Stay informed about current research and best practices in mood disorder treatment, integrating new insights into therapeutic methodologies as appropriate.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of all client interactions in compliance with ethical and legal standards of practice.
• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to discuss complex cases and improve clinical practices among peers.
• Act as an advocate for clients, working to reduce stigma around mental health issues and promote mental wellness in the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses primarily on clients dealing with mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Our clientele is diverse, representing various backgrounds and experiences, and you will be equipped to provide culturally competent care. By utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities, you'll help clients navigate their challenges and foster resilience.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Possession of a current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within the state of Arizona.
• At least two years of post-licensure experience in providing mental health services, with a focus on mood disorders preferred.
• Expertise in recognized evidence-based treatment approaches, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• A solid understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other medical professionals.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve successful therapeutic outcomes in treating mood disorders.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

Experience in any specialized training or certifications related to mood disorders or therapeutic interventions is highly valued. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems will also be beneficial in maintaining efficient documentation processes.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, with potential bonuses available. A sign-on bonus is also provided to welcome new team members.
