Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility while maintaining connectivity with colleagues and participants. You will be working within a supportive framework, actively collaborating with a diverse team of professionals in a Community Health Clinic setting. Our approach diminishes paperwork burdens, allowing you to dedicate more time to direct participant interaction and care delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize advanced crisis de-escalation skills effectively, providing support to individuals who are experiencing difficult emotional states.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments and safety plans, ensuring that all documentation is completed on the same day for individuals at risk of requiring crisis services.
• Timely complete and submit critical incident reporting forms within 24 hours as required, maintaining high standards of accountability.
• Be available for alternating after-hours phone support to coordinate care and address urgent participant needs promptly.
• Engage proactively with participants to develop strategies that prevent reliance on crisis services.
• Maintain accurate crisis alerts and coordinate with county crisis services to ensure seamless support for participants.
• Oversee hospital and inpatient service transitions, including care coordination with hospital staff for effective participant discharges.
• Execute additional duties as directed, contributing to the overall service quality and improvement initiatives within the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily involve interacting with individuals from various backgrounds grappling with mental health concerns. You'll be tasked with creating an environment of trust and understanding, allowing participants to share their experiences openly. This engagement is essential to their healing process and will influence their overall mental health outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree or doctorate in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work from an accredited program.
• A valid independent license in the state of residence (LCSW, LMFT, LPC).
• Exceptional analytical and communication skills, allowing you to articulate complex thoughts clearly and maintain composure in crisis situations.
• Proven ability to prioritize tasks effectively, managing high caseloads while delivering quality services.
• Ability to inspire and motivate others, showcasing enthusiasm even in challenging circumstances.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a community health setting or similar environment fortifying your ability to navigate diverse challenges.
• Hands-on experience with crisis management and intervention strategies.

Compensation and Benefits
