Licensed Mental Health Counselor - Full-Time Remote Position

Stepping Stones Consulting is actively seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselors, including LCSWs, LPCs, and LMFTs, for a full-time remote role. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health history and current challenges using standardized assessment tools and interviews.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that reflect clients' goals, utilizing evidence-based interventions tailored to their unique circumstances.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions through secure telehealth platforms, utilizing techniques that promote engagement and therapeutic alliance.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and case managers, to provide holistic treatment planning and ensure seamless client care.
• Educate and involve clients’ families in the therapeutic process to enhance support systems and foster a deeper understanding of mental health issues.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records following HIPAA regulations and ethical standards, ensuring optimal care continuity and compliance.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A valid and active license as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or Doctor of Psychology in the state of Texas.
• A master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Demonstrated training or experience in mental health counseling, with a solid understanding of various therapeutic modalities.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices for treating mental health disorders and an ability to adapt interventions based on client responses.
• Excellence in communication skills, enabling you to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively within a treatment team.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in outpatient mental health settings and utilizing telehealth technologies for counseling.
• Proficiency in facilitating group therapy, with a focus on skills development and peer support.
• Advanced skills in behavioral assessment and crisis intervention strategies.
• Familiarity with diverse therapeutic frameworks, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

Compensation and Benefits

• A competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
