Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans based on these assessments.
• Provide evidence-based therapy and counseling to adults experiencing a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma.
• Collaborate with clients to set realistic and achievable goals, regularly monitoring their progress and adjusting treatment strategies as needed.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation through our electronic health record system, ensuring timely updates in alignment with best practices and legal requirements.
• Engage in regular team meetings and case consultations to discuss client progress and share insights that enhance team knowledge and efficacy.
• Participate in continual learning and professional development to enhance therapy skills, including attending workshops and pursuing additional certifications.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current and valid license as either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.
• Proven experience delivering therapeutic services to adults, demonstrating knowledge of diverse mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on building rapport and fostering trust with clients.
• Proficient in the use of therapeutic tools and techniques that effectively address client needs.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development, staying current with best practices in the mental health field.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a community health clinic or similar setting, focusing on systemic and holistic approaches to mental health care.
• Familiarity with specific populations such as LGBTQ+ individuals, or those who have experienced trauma, will be considered an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and deliver comprehensive support.

Compensation and Benefits
