Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to understand the mental health needs and challenges of each client, employing evidence-based assessment tools and techniques.
• Develop individualized treatment plans by setting clear therapeutic goals tailored to each patient’s specific situation, preferences, and aspirations.
• Implement and provide various therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based strategies, and other modalities suited to client needs.
• Document client progress meticulously in our electronic health records system to ensure accurate treatment records and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Engage in continuous professional development by participating in training sessions, workshops, and peer consultations to enhance your therapeutic skills and knowledge.
• Actively contribute to program improvement initiatives by providing feedback on therapy practices and suggesting enhancements that improve patient outcomes.
• Build and maintain strong therapeutic alliances through consistent communication and empathy during counseling sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working primarily with adults experiencing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress-related disorders. Our clients often seek therapy to navigate life transitions, improve their coping strategies, and enhance their overall quality of life. Your expertise will play a crucial role in helping them achieve personal growth and emotional stability.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related mental health field is required.
• Current licensure in California as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is essential.
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a clinical mental health counseling setting is necessary to ensure effectiveness in this role.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to establish positive rapport with clients of diverse backgrounds.
• Proficiency in utilizing teletherapy platforms and maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with specialized therapeutic modalities, such as trauma-informed care or holistic approaches, will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
