Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough culturally sensitive assessments for new patients and their families, focusing on strengths and individual needs.
• Deliver both individual and family therapy sessions, drawing upon evidence-based practices tailored to the specific requirements of each patient.
• Maintain meticulous documentation by completing billing, treatment plans, insurance authorizations, and other necessary paperwork promptly and accurately.
• Strategically develop crisis intervention plans, safety protocols, relapse prevention strategies, and wellness plans to promote stability and support clients' goals.
• Facilitate the discharge planning process to ensure transition strategies are in place for continued support outside of therapy.
• Adhere to all relevant state and federal regulations, as well as internal policies established by Radiant Life, to uphold compliance and ethical standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through training and continuing education opportunities to enhance therapeutic competence.
• Participate actively in case consultations and team meetings to collaboratively address client needs and share best practices.
• Fulfill all licensure and mandatory training requirements to ensure proficiency and compliance within the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, and families facing a wide range of mental health challenges. By employing a strength-based approach, you will empower clients in their journey through depression, anxiety, trauma, and other mental health issues. Your role will significantly contribute to enhancing access to care, reducing stigma surrounding mental illness, and ensuring that clients receive the quality support necessary for sustainable recovery.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field is required.
• Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist in the State of Massachusetts is necessary (e.g., LMHC, LMFT, LICSW).

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in outpatient mental health settings is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in the use of electronic health record systems to manage documentation and client communication.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
