Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough and compassionate mental health assessments to determine patient needs and develop tailored treatment plans that promote recovery and growth.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy to address the unique needs of each client.
• Facilitate and lead psychoeducational and support groups that empower individuals and foster a sense of community among participants.
• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration, working closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other health professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Provide crisis intervention services, demonstrating swift and effective decision-making in mental health emergencies.
• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, coping strategies, and community resources to enhance their support systems.
• Maintain meticulous documentation and case records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing training to stay informed about industry best practices and innovations.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Must hold a current and valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in Massachusetts.
• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment methodologies, and clinical assessment techniques relevant to a telehealth environment.
• Proven experience in successfully delivering both individual and group therapy across various populations.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with clients, fostering trust and effective therapeutic relationships.
• Strong analytical thinking and sound judgment in clinical decision-making while adhering to ethical standards.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and strong computer proficiency are essential for maintaining accurate records.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in providing teletherapy or remote counseling services is highly desirable.
• Specialization or training in trauma-informed care techniques or specific therapeutic approaches is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
