Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized counseling services grounded in established mental health, psychological, and developmental theories, engaging with adult clients, families, and group settings.
• Facilitate psychoeducation, equipping clients with crucial insights regarding mental health disorders and treatment options, thereby enabling informed decision-making by patients and their families.
• Actively participate in staffing meetings and case conferences to collaboratively develop optimal care plans, ensuring comprehensive treatment strategies are executed.
• Assess client needs related to career development and interpersonal relationships, crafting tailored strategies to manage cognitive, affective, and behavioral disorders efficiently.
• Implement continuous assessments to gauge treatment effectiveness, adapting individualized service plans in response to client feedback and progress reviews.
• Maintain meticulous client records that document clinical activities, interventions executed, and aftercare plans prior to service termination.
• Engage in client outreach and follow-up services to ensure continued support and encouragement for achieving set goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily interact with adults seeking assistance for a variety of emotional and behavioral challenges. Your work will involve cases that range from anxiety and depression to more complex psychological disturbances, allowing you to apply your expertise to foster significant improvements in your clients' quality of life.

Qualifications

• Possession of a valid and unrestricted mental health counseling license in Massachusetts, reflecting exemplary professional standing.
• A minimum of three years of pertinent experience, showcasing your capability to work effectively with both adults and children navigating emotional and behavioral challenges.
• A Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field from an accredited institution, underscoring your foundational knowledge in behavioral health.

Compensation and Benefits

• A competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 101,000 based on experience, with the potential for salary growth driven by productivity.
