Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, taking into account each patient’s unique circumstances, including any co-occurring medical conditions.
• Design and implement personalized integrated treatment plans that address psychiatric disorders alongside any relevant medical issues.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to each patient’s needs, thus fostering personal growth.
• Collaborate closely with medical doctors, psychiatrists, and other healthcare providers to ensure a well-coordinated care approach for effective treatment outcomes.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support to patients experiencing mental health emergencies, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Educate patients on the interconnectedness of mental and physical health, empowering them to manage their wellness effectively.
• Maintain precise and confidential documentation that complies with state and federal legal standards as well as ethical guidelines.
• Actively participate in team meetings, case conferences, and interdisciplinary care planning sessions to improve treatment delivery.
• Stay abreast of current research, best practices, and advancements in integrated mental health care to continually improve service quality.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse patient population that requires specialized attention due to the presence of co-occurring medical and mental health conditions. This includes individuals coping with chronic pain, substance use disorders, and other complex health issues. We seek mental health therapists who are passionate about helping patients navigate these multifaceted challenges and who possess strong clinical skills to provide integrated care.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.
• A strong foundation in mental health care for patients with co-occurring medical conditions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to maintaining professional boundaries.
• Proficiency in the use of electronic health record (EHR) systems and related technologies.
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team structure.

Preferred Experience

While general mental health counseling experience is valued, preference will be given to candidates who have worked with patients facing co-occurring disorders. Additional experience with telehealth practices or integrated care models will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We also offer a robust benefits package that includes:
