You will collaborate with a skilled interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and counselors who are committed to providing holistic care. Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify patient needs, strengths, and challenges, leading to the formulation of personalized treatment plans.
Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, for individuals, couples, and families.
Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups that foster community and address common mental health issues, promoting peer support and shared learning.
Collaborate closely with other mental health professionals to ensure coordinated and continuity of care, maintaining an emphasis on patient safety and well-being.
Deliver crisis intervention services and support patients during mental health emergencies, ensuring timely and appropriate responses to urgent needs.
Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment pathways, and local resources available to support their recovery journey.
Maintain meticulous and confidential records in compliance with legal requirements, utilizing up-to-date electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Participate actively in case consultations and professional development sessions to share expertise, learn from peers, and enhance therapeutic practices.
Stay informed about emerging research and advancements in mental health therapy to incorporate innovative techniques and strategies into your practice.
As a Mental Health Therapist, you will work with a diverse client population dealing with a variety of mental health challenges, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance abuse. Our focus is on providing tailored interventions that respect the unique backgrounds and experiences of each patient, fostering personal growth and resilience.
A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
Current, valid licensure as an LICSW, LPCC, LGSW, or LMFT in the state of Minnesota.
Strong understanding of mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities.
Experience conducting comprehensive assessments and developing effective, individualized treatment plans.
Proven ability to manage and deliver individual and group therapy effectively across a range of patient demographics.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building trust and rapport with clients.
Commitment to adhering to professional ethics and maintaining clear boundaries.
Proficient in utilizing electronic health record systems and related technology for documentation and patient management.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing positively to a supportive atmosphere.
A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in mental health therapy or counseling settings.
Experience with teletherapy and the use of technology in therapeutic settings.
Familiarity with community-based resources for mental health support.
