Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' behavioral and mental health needs, using standardized tools and clinical judgment to create tailored treatment plans.
• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based therapy sessions focused on aiding individuals in addressing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health challenges.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, social workers, and healthcare professionals, to align therapeutic strategies with overall patient goals and organizational research objectives.
• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation, ensuring that all records are compliant with ethical and regulatory standards while providing clear and concise insights to enhance care continuity.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and reflect on clinical practice to inform the broader mission of innovative mental health research.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse clientele from the Hawaiian community, including individuals, couples, and families facing various mental health and emotional challenges. Events such as natural disasters and varying socio-economic backgrounds may impact clients' experiences, requiring you to adapt your therapeutic approach to meet their unique needs effectively.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Social Work is required.
• Possession of an active professional license (LPC, LMFT, or LCSW) is mandatory for this role.
• At least two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting is essential, demonstrating competence in effective patient-centered therapeutic practices.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients while maintaining organized documentation and compliance with ethical standards.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in community health settings or with marginalized populations may be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits
