Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health concerns, develop clinical diagnoses, and create personalized treatment plans that address their unique needs.
• Deliver individual, family, and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to each client's specific circumstances and goals.
• Provide crisis intervention for clients facing acute mental health emergencies, employing skills to stabilize situations while ensuring client safety and comfort.
• Maintain meticulous records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and assessment outcomes, adhering strictly to ethical and legal standards of confidentiality.
• Collaborate with a diverse range of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and occupational therapists, to ensure a comprehensive approach to client care.
• Educate clients and their families on mental health awareness, treatment options, and available community resources, advocating for their rights and needs when necessary.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay abreast of the latest trends and methodologies in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client base includes a varied demographic, encompassing children, adolescents, adults, and families. As a therapist, you will be responsible for tailoring your therapeutic approach to meet the unique needs and backgrounds of each client, recognizing the different challenges they face. Your ability to connect and build rapport will be essential in fostering a trusting therapeutic relationship that enables positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW) in the state of Washington.
• A Bachelor's degree is required; a Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field is highly preferred.
• A minimum of two years of related clinical experience is required.
• Demonstrated strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, crucial for effective therapy.
• The ability to work independently while also contributing meaningfully as a team member.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience within a clinical, outpatient, or community mental health setting is advantageous but entry-level positions may consider motivated candidates with relevant education.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 85,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with your experience. We also offer a sign-on bonus as an added incentive.
