Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed assessments through virtual consultations to evaluate the mental health needs of patients, tailoring treatment plans to their unique circumstances.
• Provide short-term individual counseling and crisis intervention services aimed at addressing various mental health issues, ensuring clients feel supported and understood.
• Facilitate online therapy groups and workshops that tackle relevant topics such as stress management, emotional resilience, and coping strategies for personal development.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that includes medical professionals, community outreach programs, and patient support services to enhance the quality of care.
• Engage in outreach initiatives and preventive measures, such as virtual mental health awareness campaigns and wellness webinars, to bolster community mental health.
• Maintain thorough and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will serve encompass a diverse demographic with varying mental health concerns, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Qualifications

• An active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is essential.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is required; further education at the Master’s or Doctoral level is preferable.
• Strong understanding of mental health challenges, particularly those pertinent to the outpatient initiative and community settings.
• Demonstrated excellence in communication and interpersonal skills is a must for effectively engaging with clients and interdisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and therapeutic models suited to the counseling environment.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of two years of experience in mental health counseling or related fields, preferably in outpatient settings.
• Experience with virtual therapy and telehealth tools will be seen as advantageous.
• A proven ability to handle a diverse caseload and rapidly adapt to changing patient needs.
