Key Responsibilities

• Utilize electronic medical record systems to monitor and document client progress, ensuring continuity of care and effective communication of treatment plans.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and formulate individualized treatment plans based on clinical best practices and client needs.
• Provide consistent and meaningful therapeutic sessions through telehealth, utilizing various modalities suited to the client’s requirements, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.
• Maintain compliance with ethical codes and state regulations, ensuring that clients receive high standards of care and support.
• Participate actively in team meetings, collaborating with colleagues to discuss case management and share insights for continuous improvement.
• Stay informed regarding ongoing developments in mental health practices and continue professional education as required by licensing boards.
• Adhere to organizational policies and protocols while supporting clients in addressing financial or social needs through resource navigation.
• Demonstrate effective time management and organizational skills while handling a substantial caseload, prioritizing tasks and delegating when necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily focuses on young individuals, including children and adolescents, who may be experiencing various mental health challenges. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Mind Saver, you will work with clients who require assistance in managing anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and academic difficulties. By providing a safe and affirming space, you will empower these young people to build resilience and develop coping strategies that will serve them throughout their lives.

Qualifications

• A master’s or doctoral degree in clinical psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• An independent mental health license in the state of Oregon or the state where you reside (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC).
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle a high caseload effectively.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development to maintain licensure and improve clinical skills.
• Ability to communicate compassionately and clearly with clients, families, and team members.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in providing mental health counseling through telehealth platforms, with proficiency in virtual client engagement strategies.
• A proven track record of successfully managing a diverse caseload and implementing various therapeutic modalities.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and their application in monitoring and documenting client interactions.

Compensation and Benefits

Mind Saver Mental Health Services, Inc. offers a competitive salary range of $50,000 to $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience and education. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance; life and disability insurance; professional liability insurance; and access to an employee assistance program for mental health support. We also maintain a minimal paperwork environment to allow you to focus primarily on your clients.
