Work Environment

This role is primarily conducted in a remote setting, allowing for flexibility in your work-life balance while still providing vital mental health services to clients in the Fullerton, California area. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a diverse team of mental health professionals, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes growth and professional development.
• Provide clinical supervision and guidance to less experienced counselors, ensuring they adhere to best practices in mental health care.
• Manage the clinic’s administrative functions, including maintaining patient records and coordinating care among team members to streamline processes and enhance client experience.
• Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to boost service visibility and build strong relationships with community partners.
• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions for clients experiencing mental health challenges, utilizing evidence-based practices.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, with a focus on achieving defined therapeutic outcomes.
• Participate actively in case consultations, discussing complex cases and drawing on the expertise of colleagues to refine treatment approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client population comprises individuals and families facing a range of mental health concerns, including addiction, trauma, homelessness, and co-occurring disorders such as Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). You will be directly involved in providing crisis management support and therapeutic interventions to help clients reclaim stability and find paths towards healthier lifestyles.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is required.
• Current licensure as a LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC in the state of California, adhering to ongoing professional development and supervision requirements.
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in providing crisis management, addiction counseling, and mental health services.
• Proficient in understanding addiction issues and their impact on mental health, as well as knowledge of trauma, homelessness, and related co-occurring disorders.
• A commitment to fostering respect and support for all clients, staff, and supervisees.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated ability to manage a team and collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary setting.
• Experience in creating and executing marketing plans to support community engagement.
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and electronic health record systems.
