Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to formulate individualized therapy strategies tailored to each client's unique needs.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups to address a variety of mental health issues.
• Employ a range of therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short therapy.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive client care, leveraging the expertise of various healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with ethical and legal standards established in the field.
• Participate in workshops, training, and professional development opportunities to stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on individuals and families with complex mental health needs who often face barriers to accessing care. You will provide support to clients experiencing conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and relationship challenges. Your compassionate approach will help clients navigate their personal journeys toward recovery and empowerment.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field.
• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of California.
• Minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting is required.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards governing clinical practice.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with diverse clientele.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with a healthcare team for holistic client care.
• Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and related technologies is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use treatment is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
