Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical assessments and create tailored treatment plans for clients experiencing major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders.
• Engage with clients in both individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based interventions to foster recovery.
• Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team to enhance client outcomes, participating in team meetings aimed at person-centered care.
• Identify and address safety concerns through proactive measures, ensuring a secure environment for clients and staff.
• Conduct developmentally appropriate screenings and arrange for comprehensive assessments as necessary to further inform treatment options.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation for client interactions, assessments, and treatment progress to comply with professional standards and organizational policies.
• Support clients through crisis intervention, offering direct assistance during high-stress situations.
• Carry a manageable caseload, monitoring client progress and ensuring they receive requested treatment services focused on their presenting issues.
• Participate in program improvement committees to enhance service delivery and contribute to organizational quality initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working with a diverse population in the Santa Ana area, where many clients face the challenges associated with under-served communities. This role specifically targets individuals experiencing a range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, and trauma-related disorders. An understanding of the socio-economic factors that influence mental health is essential, and you will play a pivotal role in advocating for and empowering clients as they navigate their recovery journeys.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field is required.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California is mandatory.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in a mental health setting is preferred.
• Expertise in assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and crisis management, particularly for diverse populations.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities to effectively engage with clients and colleagues.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred to accommodate our diverse client base.
• Experience in community health settings and working with marginalized individuals is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 85,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
