Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate client mental health status and create tailored treatment plans based on individual needs.
• Engage with clients through regular virtual sessions, offering insights, coping strategies, and therapeutic exercises to facilitate their healing journey.
• Utilize evidence-based methodologies including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and other therapeutic modalities to support clients with issues such as anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and trauma.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals as necessary, providing referrals for psychiatric evaluations or additional support services when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring timely documentation and treatment updates using EHR systems.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and clinical supervision to enhance therapeutic skills and maintain licensing requirements.
• Facilitate and encourage client participation in support groups or workshops that foster community connection and social learning.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on clients experiencing a wide range of mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, eating disorders, and substance abuse challenges. We serve a diverse population in San Francisco and beyond, emphasizing cultural competence and inclusivity in all interactions. Qualifications

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Possession of a current and valid license as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California is essential.
• A minimum of four years of experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating proficiency in mental health assessment and intervention.
• Strong understanding of various mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches.
• Experience and comfort delivering both individual and group therapy through telehealth platforms.
• Exemplary crisis intervention skills and the ability to manage challenging scenarios with professionalism.

Compensation and Benefits
