Work Environment

This position operates in a remote setting, with access to our outpatient office resources as needed. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations during initial consultations to assess the emotional, behavioral, and psychological well-being of clients.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on the individual needs and circumstances of each client, adjusting the plans as required throughout the therapeutic process.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing various mental health challenges, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all participants.
• Monitor client progress and adapt treatment interventions as necessary, utilizing outcome measures and feedback to inform your approach.
• Collaborate effectively with other mental health professionals, physicians, and support staff to provide integrated care that meets the diverse needs of clients.
• Provide timely referrals to external resources and services when necessary, ensuring clients have access to a full spectrum of support.
• Engage and educate family members and significant others in the therapeutic process to foster understanding and support for their loved ones.
• Conduct follow-up communications with psychiatrists and medical providers to discuss client care, particularly for those involved in inpatient services.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at New Pattern Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals with anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, addiction issues, and relationship challenges. Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.
• A successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
• Demonstrated prior experience working in a mental health counseling role preferred.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems, such as AVATAR, to manage documentation and client information efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with clients facing co-occurring physical health conditions and mental health disorders.
• Familiarity with best practices outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
• In-depth understanding of psychotropic medications and their potential impacts on mental health treatment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for effective rapport-building with clients and team members.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience, plus a sign-on bonus for eligible candidates. Our benefits package includes:
