Work Environment

As a remote-friendly organization, Beautiful Minds Counseling Center offers a flexible work setting that accommodates clinicians' schedules while extending exceptional care to our clients. Our outpatient facility operates Monday through Saturday, providing a balanced schedule for professionals to develop their careers while managing personal commitments. We support our counselors with in-house credentialing, streamlining the administrative burden of insurance participation and scheduling, enabling them to focus purely on patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for individuals, adolescents, families, and groups, tailoring therapeutic interventions to meet their unique needs.
• Initiate and lead treatment plans, engaging in triage care and interdisciplinary meetings to maintain a cohesive patient care strategy.
• Efficiently document assessments and treatment plans in accordance with departmental standards, ensuring compliance and clarity in reports.
• Collaborate with community organizations and other healthcare professionals, providing case management services that address both immediate and long-term patient needs.
• Employ various evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to create tailored service plans that promote optimal mental health outcomes.
• Facilitate ongoing communication with clients and their families, ensuring transparency and engagement throughout the treatment process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients encompass a diverse demographic including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing a variety of mental health concerns. As a counselor at the Beautiful Minds Counseling Center, you will work with individuals experiencing conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. You will be instrumental in providing the tools and support needed for these individuals to thrive, ensuring that their paths to recovery are personalized and effective.

Qualifications

• A current license as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Independent Marriage and Family Therapist (LIMFT), or Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) in Ohio.
• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• A commitment to providing a minimum of 10 to 40 hours of therapeutic sessions per week, depending on personal availability and preference.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in mental health counseling or social work, demonstrating a strong foundation in therapeutic practices.
• Prior exposure to working in an outpatient setting with a focus on diverse client populations will be advantageous.
• Strong familiarity with case management practices and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care.
