Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to determine clients' mental health needs and create tailored treatment plans based on their individual circumstances.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic services to individuals, groups, and families, utilizing a variety of approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or other relevant modalities.
• Collaborate with support staff, case managers, and psychiatrists to enhance coordinated care, ensuring that all team members are aligned in their approach to client treatment.
• Offer crisis intervention and support for clients experiencing acute distress or emergencies, employing effective techniques to help them regain stability.
• Participate in community outreach programs and educational initiatives aimed at increasing mental health awareness and destigmatizing mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a licensed mental health therapist with Livewell Therapy, you will be working with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. Many of our clients face various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and mood disorders. Your cultural competence and sensitivity will be essential in establishing rapport and building therapeutic relationships within our multifaceted community.

Qualifications

• A current and valid professional license is required (Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or Doctor of Psychology).
• A master’s degree or doctoral degree in fields such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is essential.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Cultural competence with experience working effectively alongside clients from various backgrounds.
• Strong organizational abilities and time-management skills that facilitate accurate and timely documentation of therapeutic progress.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in teletherapy or delivering services through digital platforms is advantageous.
• A demonstrated understanding of evidence-based interventions and best practices in mental health therapy.
