Remote Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) – Full-Time

Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health needs, using a variety of tools to evaluate psychosocial stressors and determine treatment goals.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate appropriate referrals and linkages to community-based services for families and individuals.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans, integrating evidence-based practices to address the unique needs of each client.
• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical documentation, including patient medical histories, psychological evaluations, treatment progress, and recommendations.
• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families, addressing coping strategies and available resources to promote recovery and resilience.
• Engage in crisis intervention as needed, applying skills in handling situations involving substance abuse, trauma, domestic violence, and mental health crises.
• Participate in team meetings and case consultations to enhance the quality of care provided and to continuously refine treatment approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Strong foundational knowledge of mental health conditions, treatment modalities, and therapeutic interventions.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of direct counseling experience with diverse populations.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and digital communication tools, enhancing the delivery of care.
• Experience in crisis situations and knowledge of strategies for intervention and support.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
