Nurse Practitioner Needed – full-time opportunity in Modesto, California

Job Type: Full Time
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM
Compensation: $180,000.00 - $200,000 per year + benefits
Job Duties:
Patient Assessment & Diagnosis:
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including detailed medical histories, physical exams, and diagnostic assessments.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, such as diabetes, hypertension, and respiratory conditions.
Treatment Planning & Management:
- Develop and implement personalized care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Prescribe and manage medications, treatments, and therapies in accordance with established protocols.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and lab results to guide clinical decisions.
Patient Education & Preventive Care:
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and lifestyle modifications.
- Provide counseling on medication adherence, symptom management, and self-care techniques.
Collaboration & Coordination:
- Work collaboratively with physicians, specialists, nurses, and support staff to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care.
- Refer patients to appropriate specialists or services when necessary.
Documentation & Compliance:
- Maintain thorough and accurate electronic medical records (EMR) in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Ensure adherence to state and federal healthcare standards and organizational policies.
Qualifications:
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or higher from an accredited program.
- Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in California.
- Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP), or equivalent.
- DEA license and valid NPI.
- Proven experience in outpatient, hospital, or primary care settings.
- Strong clinical expertise in patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
