Manages clinical aspects of research in the Clinical Research Center and serves in supporting roles of consultant, educator, researcher, and administrator. This individual is responsible for oversight of the Clinical Research Center Clinical Research Units and staff, ensuring good clinical practice involving research protocols, and evaluating and implementing new clinical research trials. This individual will also assist PI's with coordination of select studies.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.

Patient care experience as a Registered nurse in a clinical and.or research setting.

Current APRN licensure in the State of Nebraska (or eligible for license prior to beginning to provide care)

Ability to interrelate and deal effectively with multiple disciplines and individuals of varying background and abilities. Ability to coordinate and manage research activities. Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to take initiative and make decisions with minimal supervision. Utilization of knowledge and skills related to meeting age specific needs of the patient population served within the scope of this job description.
