Nurse Practitioner – Full-Time Opportunity in Pensacola, Florida
We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Nurse Practitioner-Primary Care. The Nurse Practitioner (NP) functions in a collegial and collaborative relationship with physicians and other health professionals, making independent decisions about nursing needs and collaborative decisions with physicians regarding health regimens.
Job Type: Full-Time
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM
Compensation: $120,000 – $150,000 per year + benefits
The selected candidate will be responsible for performing daily Nurse Practitioner duties, including but not limited to:

The selected candidate will be responsible for performing daily Nurse Practitioner duties, including but not limited to:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations.
- Manage chronic disease, diagnose illnesses and medical conditions, and implement plan of care
- Order and interpret lab results
- Prescribe and monitor medications
- Consult with physicians and coordinate patient care with other healthcare practitioners
- Educate patients and their caregivers on coping skills to handle chronic and age-related conditions
- Build relationships with your patients, patients' family members, and facility staff to facilitate effective treatment delivery
- Promote healthy lifestyle changes
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree.
- Valid Florida Nurse Practitioner license.
- Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP), or relevant specialty.
- Active and unrestricted DEA with prescriptive authority required
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience in outpatient or primary care settings is preferred.
