Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and detailed health assessments for female patients, following established department protocols and procedures.
• Utilize advanced clinical skills to perform specialized women's health services such as IUD insertions, Nexplanon placements, colposcopies, endometrial biopsies, and managing pessary fittings.
• Collaborate effectively with supervising physicians and multidisciplinary clinical staff to develop and implement comprehensive care plans for complex cases.
• Advocate for the individual needs of patients and their families, ensuring care considerations encompass physiological, psychosocial, spiritual, and cultural aspects.
• Participate in the coordination of patient care, establishing clear communication channels with other healthcare providers to promote optimal patient health outcomes.
• Review and manage patient medical records, ensuring follow-up on diagnostic studies and adherence to outlined protocols.
• Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for accurate documentation and tracking of patient information.
• Implement safety principles and legal standards throughout patient interactions, ensuring strict adherence to patient confidentiality and risk management practices.
• Maintain composure and develop action plans during emergency situations as per established protocols, promptly engaging the necessary personnel.
• Exhibit a service-oriented mindset in every interaction, fostering positive relationships with patients, their families, and fellow staff members.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The focus of your role will be on providing holistic care to women across various life stages, from adolescence through menopause and beyond. You will engage with patients dealing with a variety of health concerns, including reproductive health issues, family planning, and general wellness checks. By addressing the multifaceted needs of our patients, you will contribute to enhancing their quality of life and empowering them in their health journey.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in California.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or a related field, along with an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) credential.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner is strongly preferred, demonstrating a solid foundation in women’s health issues.
• Experience in the outpatient care setting and an understanding of the challenges specific to women's health services can enhance your candidacy.

Compensation and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $220,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
