MindWell Psychiatric Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Babylon, New York. As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, you will collaborate closely with psychiatrists, social workers, therapists, and other support staff, all committed to offering comprehensive care. Our flexible scheduling options accommodate the personal needs of our staff, including daytime, evenings, and weekend availability.
Our clientele includes a diverse mix of children and adolescents, as well as adults grappling with various psychiatric conditions, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, ADHD, and trauma-related disorders. As a member of our healthcare team, you will play a significant role in improving the mental health and overall quality of life for these patients.
To qualify for this role, candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner. The successful applicant should have a strong foundation in psychiatric care, demonstrating both clinical expertise and a genuine commitment to patient wellness.
While experience in a direct care setting as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner is preferred, we welcome candidates who exhibit a passion for mental health and a desire to grow professionally. Familiarity with electronic health record systems and current best practices in psychiatric treatments will be considered advantageous.
