Key Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced-level clinical expertise in women's healthcare, managing patient interactions from initial assessments to ongoing treatment plans.
• Conduct thorough evaluations and manage chronic stable medical conditions, providing routine care, acute care, and performing necessary procedures as per established protocols in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Implement non-invasive or invasive procedures, including surgical interventions, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Independently make informed patient management decisions while collaborating with other healthcare providers for optimal patient outcomes.
• Serve as a key resource for healthcare team members, offering guidance and education to enhance their clinical skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of women of all ages within the educational community, including students and faculty at local schools. You will provide essential health services, including routine gynecological exams, prenatal care, reproductive health education, and management of chronic conditions. Your expertise will not only ensure their health needs are met but also provide a supportive environment where they can openly discuss their health concerns.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Nursing, Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), or a PhD in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) and Nurse Practitioner (NP) licenses in Minnesota.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
• DEA certification is required within three months of hire.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective interactions with patients and colleagues alike.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of one year of nurse practitioner experience in outpatient settings, preferably within Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Practical knowledge of clinical quality and performance improvement initiatives.
• Experience in triaging patients and managing a variety of healthcare scenarios to enhance efficiency.
• Proven skills in performing patient procedures and managing complex health needs.

Compensation and Benefits
